Baytonia is a leading furniture retail and marketplace brand serving business owners and individual consumers across Saudi Arabia. As TikTok became a core growth channel, Baytonia's campaigns were limited by what the platform could see. First-party purchase data wasn't reaching TikTok's AI completely, capping how well the algorithm could target and optimize. Journify connected Baytonia's backend to TikTok through server-side Events API delivery, improving signal quality and giving the platform what it needed to perform.
The problem
Baytonia's TikTok campaigns were generating real purchase activity that the platform couldn't fully attribute. Without reliable server-side data flowing to TikTok, the algorithm was learning from an incomplete picture. Targeting was less precise than it could be, measurement was unreliable, and campaign performance had room to improve that the team couldn't yet access.
The gap wasn't in the media strategy. It was in the signal layer feeding the platform.
What changed
Journify connected Baytonia's first-party data to TikTok's Events API through server-side infrastructure. Purchase events that were previously incomplete or lost in the browser now reached TikTok reliably, enriched with the identifiers needed to maximize match rates and formatted to TikTok's specifications.

TikTok's Event Match Quality Score improved. Journify's deduplication layer reached a 99% deduplication rate between browser and server-side events, ensuring clean attribution with no double-counted conversions. The platform's AI started learning from a more complete and accurate picture of Baytonia's actual buyers, enabling more precise targeting and stronger campaign outcomes.

The results
With higher-quality signals reaching TikTok consistently, the platform's algorithm found better-fit buyers more efficiently. Baytonia saw:
80% increase in ROAS 44% drop in cost per purchase
What this means for performance teams
Baytonia didn't overhaul its creative or restructure its media budget. It fixed what the platform was receiving. When TikTok's AI had access to complete, validated purchase signals from Baytonia's backend, it could optimize on real outcomes rather than partial data.
The performance improvement was a signal problem solved. That is what better infrastructure does.
